Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff's Steinway piano on auction blockPlay it again, Bernie.
Ponzi scheme Bernard Madoff's Steinway piano is among the items that will be auctioned off by the U.S. Marshals Service - which raised more than $1 million with a previous sale.
"This is round two - or the sequel," agency spokesman Roland Ubaldo said Friday.
The Nov. 13 event has been dubbed "Madoff II" and marshals say it will have "personal property assets from Bernard and Ruth Madoff."
The auction will be simulcast so bidders can go on line or visit a yet-to-be-named Manhattan auction house to purchase luxury items such as a statue of a bull and a diamond ring once worn by Ruth Madoff.
The money will be used help pay back some of the $65 million stolen by the 72-year-old fraud king, who is now serving a 150-year prison sentence.
Round one took place last November, lasted six hours and sold off the couple's 38-foot sport boat and a 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK 320 convertible with a little over 12,000 miles on it.
