Totally off topic but I am really curious to find out whether there might be some potential link between signs and musical talent. And whether piano players out there have a tendency to play pieces by composers from same or compatible signs. smile

While Bach is Aries, Beethoven is Sagittarius, Mozart is Aquarius, Chopin is Pisces... I am an Aquarius myself and I do find a relatively easier click with Beethoven and Mozart, whereas Bach and Chopin are a lot harder. And the contemporary musicians that I like tend to be Aquarius too. Very interesting...

What's your sign? And what's the sign of your favorite composer?

I'll have to look to see which composers are Scorpio/Sagitarius; I'm on the cusp. Interesting theory.

UPDATE: Scorpio composers (among others): Aaron Copeland, John Phillips Souza, Johann Strauss, and Domenico Scarlatti. I really like these guys, so maybe there's something to this!

Sorry, couldn't resist:

I am a Libra. (What is a Libra? It is the glue that keeps the universe together!)

Libra composers:
Shostakovitch
Gershwin
St. Saens
Liszt
Verdi
Vaughan Williams
Takemitsu.

I think I'm in good company.

I share a sign with Wagner, Schumann, Stravinsky, Prince, Pat Boone, and Kenny G.

... along with Yeats, Thomas Mann, M.C. Escher, Gene Wilder, Clint Eastwood, and Brigham Young.

I don't know what kind of company I'm in, but it's company. smile

I would think your moon sign may have a greater influence on such an artistic matter.

I'm Aries and I can be quite obsessed with Bach's music. Buy I don't think there's any connections, just coincidence.

It's quite possible that Chopin was an Aquarian, as back in the old days, documented birth dates tend to be a bit of time after the real birth.

Yes. Although the new "swagger" old spice product sounds appealing, my favorite is still the original round stick formula.

TMI apply?

Well, now you've got me curious about that as well, so I found a "moon sign calculator" on line and determined my moon sign is Libra, which means I'm Taurus/Libra apparently. confused I'm always learning interesting and funny new things on this forum. grin

I've never heard of "moon sign" either. How come my moon sign is the same as my sun sign? I guess I can't be anymore Aquarius. Maybe I should seriously consider learning Jazz now since spontaneity and creativity are core signatures of Aquarius...
