Hi there,

I would like to get a general picture about how the schedule of events around the release of a new DPs usually look like.

I am aware that no one is aothorized to state anything specific about future models, and that's OK; I would just like to understand the trends, so (for exemple) last year's data would be perfect for me.

So, let's assume Kawai announces a new DP at the coming NAMM, in January. (For examples, it may refresh the CL or the ES line, which have not yet received the RH action.)

If this happens, when can I expect the new DP to be available for purchase in Europe?

And how is this with other manufacturers?

(There has been some speculation about Yamaha needing to come up with something new...)

I'll go first. I bought the CP5 in May of this year. It was introduced I believe in January at the Frankfurt Messe. I placed my order not much later and it arrived at the end of May if my memory is correct.
