Went over to Amazon today & being a newbie at piano wanted some music to listen to. After sampling some cds finaly decided on " The " Koln Concert" by Keith Jarrett & "Hopes & Fears" by Keane. Enjoyed listening to both & sounded like the type of piano I would enjoy. Also picked up my first Easy play book by Hal Leonard "Easy Beatle Songs". Figure this would supplement my Alfreds All In One books pretty well once I can play something after a few months. Can't have too much piano related material I guess. Since my DP isn't due till Thanksgiving I'm studying as much theory as I can lay my hands on. Its a little easier since I've played guitar for a long time now.

Just be aware that "easy play" is sometimes (often) aimed at an intemediate level so don't be discouraged if you find it tough going. I still just play that sort of thing as if it's from a fake book (melody plus chords and improvise from that).
