Here's a photo with the requisite pups. Both are rescues, the Springer from the next door neighbors who were going to take him to the pound and the little terrier mix just showed up on our front steps one day. I think the word is getting around about us being an easy mark :-)

Edtek, I found myself oddly entranced by your minimalist Christmas tree in that photo. At first I thought it was bizarre. Five minutes later I found myself thinking "I want one!"

Plowboy - Ah, mountaintops. That's my plan for this fall - to get back to hiking - I've been away too long. Beautiful picture.

What a great thread! I don't think I noticed it before, and I guess it's easy to miss because it has gone through long periods of being inactive. I looked through it a bit yesterday and was glad to see so many of our people 'for real'! I must admit that all the animal pics were a little hard because I've got ALLERGIES but even I had to admit they were kinda cute.
