Anyone here had a chance to play on a Johannus Opus 7, the pedal board is only 30 notes instead of the AGO Standard 32 but how close is the spacing of the 30 it does have to an AGO pedal board? Also how did the organ sound?

I have not experienced the Opus 7 in person yet, but from what I have heard, for the price, you cant go wrong with it. Johannus is really setting itself in the world of digital organs of building high quality, and fine sounding instruments at a very affordable price.

My personal favorite modern organ company besides Allen organs is hands down Johannus. They are just fantastic sounding organs. If you like that european sound that is!

As for 30 vs 32. Personally playing a 30 note pedalboard has always been far more comfortable than 32. Dont know the spacing difference, if there is one.

Its not like you will use the top 2 notes in standard classical organ repertoire often, so you aren't really loosing much with going with a 30 note pedalboard.

Thanks for the input Brandon, I actually got a message from a Johannus dealer (although I realize that he is trying to sell organs) that says the Pedalboard would be AGO compliant if it had the other two pedals. So I think after the holidays I may just go for it. Have to work on the wife first though. Maybe if I finish up the bathroom remodel I've been working on forever so she doesn't have to go downstairs in the middle of the night.
