Hello, I have posted here before but I thought I would try again. I am looking for a very specific Baldwin Acrosonic spinet piano built in 1961. It has the danish modern design, here's a picture...

I was also curious to know how much is a reasonable amount to pay for this piano? Thank you for your help!!!

This is apparently a rare model. You could be a nice person and pay the rather modest asking price, but note how long it's been on sale. No one is interested in this offbeat design. I'd offer half price, or even less, or maybe even "I'll take it off your hands for free." You're the only person in the country interested in this, apparently.

I'd say 400 to 600 depending on condition. If you're really looking for that specific cabinet style and it's hard to find, it's up to you.

I have tuned some of this model. They didn't keep that one in production very long.

To me the asking price is not outrageous. The Acrosonic was the only premium quality spinet piano built. Yamaha had one that wasn't bad. The rest were all designed and assembled (using the term loosely) as promotional priced entry level instruments.

But, as others have posted, it doesn't hurt to try to get a better price.

yes, the Acrosonic were about the only spinet worth having. I owned one for many years before selling it when I got my grand.

Funny....This is the 2nd time this poster has asked about this, rather rare piano.

In both cases, I responded that I had one in stock in mint condition. I also emailed the OP telling him the same.

No response.

Why ask and not respond?
