I do not currently take lessons with another teacher, but it is one of my goals for the coming year. We have a great music school in our area, but it is very pricey...so I have been saving up for it.
I feel the same way; no matter how great of teachers we are, we all still have plenty to learn!

Yup I'm still going to a teacher - however, I'm in the process of completing my ARCT with the RCM - I figure I'll be going to lessons for a number of years still

Proudly and when we can. I think of it more as coaching.
And it has opened a whole new world to explore for technique, touch and tone.

I would if I had the cash. Yes yes yes.
In college, one of our professors was kind of world-renowned. So when visiting artists would perform on campus, a lot of them would take a lesson or two while they were there. And these were artists that were traveling the globe.
You never stop learning.

I'm lucky enough to be able to take lessons. I got my undergrad degree in 2006 but I wasn't done learning... I never will be! I'm also going to be attending some workshops this year! One of my favorite things about music is that there is always more to learn. I get really excited about learning new things, whether or not it has to do with music. Heck, I'm excited about my upcoming cross-training for my day job!

When wearing my freelance accompanist hat, I often find myself in lessons with teachers of other instruments. In particular, there is a saxophonist and bassoonist I work with a fair amount, and I learn a great deal from both of them.

I resumed taking lessons a couple years back - monthly. Best move I ever made. Mannerisms creep in, habits form, etc., and lessons are a great checkup, and not only that, but areas you thought might never improve can improve as well!

Over my lifetime I want to learn to play all the major instruments, so I'll probably be taking lessons for a long time.

I still take weekly lessons. It's a big expense, and I don't have the time to practice like I'd like, but having frequent contact with a teacher who's so much more experienced than me makes me a better teacher.

Yes, every week! I also go to piano camp for 10 days every year. Quite honestly, I'm not sure how I would find the inspiration and new ideas without the input from the other end. I think part of what makes me an effective teacher is that I constantly think about what it means to study, practice, fail, succeed, become frustrated, perform, etc.....

Depending on my financial situation, I try to fly up to NYC once a year and schedule about 4 or 5 lessons with 1 or 2 teachers over 1 - 1 1/2 weeks.
And I also enjoy picking the brains of colleagues down here when I get a chance.
And what Kreisler said about teachers of soloists is absolutely true. I've gleamed so much from voice and string teachers in those situations.
It never ends.

I have taken lessons for most of the time I've been teaching myself, sometimes I share ideas with my own teachers, and even use each other's ideas. Especially with my theory/piano teacher.

Lessons ≠ professional development, necessarily. It is certainly true to say that taking private piano lessons as a teacher will be of huge value, there are many other kinds of learning that teachers should be engaging in if they wish to maintain and develop their teaching abilities and skills.
Much of what is gained in lessons can simply be gained by teachers setting aside ample time each week to do their own practice - and for many people (we're all only human) having a teacher to whom we can be accountable ensures we will get that practice done.
I've met many a piano teacher who does not even find 1 hour a week to do their own playing. Of course, they feel frustrated, but it's like an exercise program: most people will do better with a personal trainer.

I'm exchanging lessons with another teacher on Monday. It will be interesting to hear him play, but I'm shaking in my shoes (just a little!).
