Hey guys if you have an iPhone or iPad, I put up a site on my server:

Basically I just converted the IMSLP free sheet music archive wiki to iPhone/iPad format for easier viewing. I think it would be very convenient to use with the iPad as a portable sheet music viewer, or on the iPhone to look at scores while you are listening. I just put a few popular composers for now, but let me know if you think its useful and Ill finish it up. Thanks

I don't use an iPad or an iPhone, and I even don't like Macs (* Nikolas runs and hides), but I find your application EXTREMELY useful!

Not to mention that you just gave me something I had never considered: The use of iPhone for viewing scores, WHILE you listen! This is an awesome idea!

So thanks in all and thanks for the idea and for everything!

(BTW, Grieg is empty I think... at least when I looked a few minutes ago, through Windows Vista and Chrome, while Beethoven is full, so I doubt it's an OS issue).

Thanks for the info, looks like I stuck an extra "y" at the end of his name which messed up the scripts. Ill reupload it tonight.

I am puzzled. The imslp archive is already in pdf. How is the content of your site more adapted to the iPad than the regular imslp content? Is the value in the way you present the index?

Hey OCD, yeah sorry if I didn't make that clear. I basically created a mobile version of the site. All the PDFs still link to the original ones, but the menus to get there are much easier to navigate on mobile devices than the standard website.

Just wonder if anyone else has been using it? I've been hosting it for about a year but it doesn't seem to have gained much traction.

I thought I had to have an ipad/iphone to use it, but I just noticed it's pretty useful as a quick-link to the more common composers.

Only a fraction of IMSLP's catalogue seems to be available. The interface works well for the most popular composers and pieces, but it doesn't look like you can get to everything. For example, I only see four of the Mozart piano sonatas listed, but I can see all of them are on IMSLP.

He has only added a bit of the database to it. He said that if it catches on, he'll do the rest.
