I am interested in attending classical piano soirees in NYC. Actually, I live in midtown east, and could accomodate a group of about 8 piano enthusiasts in my apartment. We have a Mason and Hamlin baby grand in our living room.

I have returned to the keyboard after a sabatical of over 30 years. Presently I would classify my playing as low intermediate, although I really have no idea of the technical terms you piano forum members would use. I do not consider myself a "performer", but maybe in the right group, I might be encouraged.

Not quite sure how to meet others with this interest? Please comment? Thanks.

Lynn

I would contact ACMA(Amateur Classical Music Association). They seem to be a very fast growing organization in Manhattan with monthly soirees. Th members/performers seem to range from almost beginnner to very advanced.
