I just bought the Agnes Obel album "Philharmonics" album, and I like this song very much:



Anyone happens to have the sheet music ?

Apparently it was used on the TV-show "Grey's Anatomy" yesterday. Anyone saw it ?

I don't watch TV as a rule so hadn't seen this show, but I just love that song. She has a distinctive voice. Is the rest of the album as good? I'll have to get it if so.

I did a quick google of "agnes obel riverside sheet music" and didn't find any legal source for it, but there are apparently some unofficial transcriptions floating around.

I'm not sure it would sound as good as a piano solo, actually; her voice and the harmonies are the main part of the appeal for me.

Yes, it is a good song, and I also like the rest of the songs on the album as well.

Since this is her first album, all the songs you find on Youtube are also on the album, e.g. the songs "Just so" and "Avenue".

I also tried to google it, but I found all the links I followed to be suspicious, so that is why I hoped that someone knew a reliable source.

You may well be right that the piano solo doesn't sound so good, I don't have the experience to hear that :-)

I went ahead and ordered the album off iTunes, so Agnes Obel owes you a commission off her royalties!

"Riverside" is the best song on the album, imo, but the others are very nice, too.

I'm guessing she's such a new artist that no official publication of her scores would be available yet.

Yeah, I wish. She's been quite successful in Europe, so she should be able to afford my modest fee, a small, but good grand piano
