Is it worth buying these older digital pianos. How would these compare to the current affordable Casio CDP,PX130 in terms of sound quality?

Thx

The first one appears to be damaged.
The second one claims to be 19 years old.
I'd skip both of them.

a yamaha p-95 would dust both of those craigslist items. The p-95 is not multi sampled but light years beyond the old stuff. Go to a guitar center and offer the 500.00 and I'm sure they would take your offer. Of course this is just a suggestion - try one out first.

I bought my first digital in 1989, and even way back then the digitals played like an acoustic piano, and so old digitals are not a problem. Digitals are very durable; the 1989 digital, I gave to my neighbor, and it's still in perfect condition. You should offer less than the asking price for each, maybe half price, and they'll probably take it. Used digitals are hard to sell, as the number of players in the population is small. There's no warranty, and you can get good new digitals with full warranty for $400-$500. There's nowhere the seller can unload it fast since a piano dealer won't buy it and a pawn shop will give him almost nothing for it. No one is going to line up to buy these and the sellers are lucky to get any offer.
