I love to tinker with things. I plan on purchasing a Yamaha CP5 in the next month or so and am considering where I will place it at home. I have always used a simple stand and had my keyboard in the back room in the house but I got to thinking. I like the idea of the Avant Grand but still would like a stage piano for its portability. Has anyone here ever retrofitted a real baby grand piano with speakers as a stand for a stage piano? I have seen fixer uppers in the local buy and sell for a few hundred dollars and have been musing over the idea. There really is nothing like composing at the helm of a grand piano and it may make for a fun project.
Thoughts?

cool idea and yes I have thought about doing it. I just dont have an old piano laying around.
