Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'm glad I found it.

I'm looking to buy my first digital piano. I just learn to play piano not long ago, so I'm a beginner.

I'd like to spend not more than $1,000
I'm looking at Williams Overture for $550, Casio AP220 for $800 and Casio AP420 for 1,100.

Which one is a good buy? Thank you for all your opinion.

If you can spend $1000 then you can get into a Yamaha P133. I don't think either of those Casios are great deals. I would never spend 1,100 on a Casio piano, not when one of the better Yamaha is available for less.

There is one person on this forum who likes the Williams. But only one.

Casio, I think is a god deal if your budget is $500. The PX130 is good for the money but the higher priced Casio pianos are almost the same thing as the PX130 in terms of key action and sound. If you can spend $1K you can step up to a mid-range piano. All those you listed are what I'd call entry level

I have a Williams Overture that I bought sight-unseen new online in 2009 for $600. This is one of the cheapest console digitals and many people sneer at it, but I use it for every kind of playing from jazz to concertos.

i say p95 for 550.00 (or 750 for same thing in a cabinet ydp-141)or p155 for 1000.00 - the 155 has the nicer action and will probably be the better buy if you can swing it. just my .02
