Mastering is an all important process of music making. What does mastering accomplish? Mastering makes the sound track radio ready. When the musical track is made, it undergoes many different stages. The initial stages of music creation are the composing, arranging music, editing, recording and mixing. The very last stage of music making is the mastering. Mastering is sometimes looked upon as something that is of less use. However, the effect of mastering is highly remarkable. 99% of the tracks are sure to benefit from the mastering services. It can be the simple leveling of volumes or the extreme measures of eq and compression. The mastering services are now also available online. The online mastering services are high in quality and low in price. The cheap audio mastering services available on the internet are of high value. The mastering engineer offers services that are at par with the attended mastering services. The online mastering services can be availed by uploading the tracks that need to be mastered on the mastering sites. Once the mastering has been performed, the mastered files can be downloaded from the server of the mastering sites. The mastered audio tracks may also be sent to the customer in CD format on request. The mastering process fine-tunes the track to make it sound sweeter and have a huge impact on the audience. Eq and compression is added wherever required. The mastering also adds consistency to the whole mix. The volume is leveled wherever necessary. Through mastering, one can make the track sound louder, clearer and much more professional. It is hard to let go of mastering when the music industry is becoming competitive.

Hi Novick your views are interesting and I pretty much agree with you, one thing as a piano player though is I do not like too much compression. The Piano is a very delicate instrument with a beautiful timbre and cadence and compressors so quickly make them sound unnatural. I do hope that you mastering people consider this kind of thing when you are doing your work. I completely agree that this is a final stage of work for which it would be foolish to skip but I would like to hope online mastering would have a sensitivity to this beautiful instrument myself and many others cherish so dearly.
