I came across a website (one of hundreds) advertising a product called PROPROACH authored by Dave Longo. Just wondering if anyone here has used it and if so, what is your opinion ?

I thought I would just give this a bump to see what happens. I keep getting promotional emails from this site and they look pretty good for jazz fakebook stuff.
There must be someone on this site that has ventured into his stuff.

His method and pacing seems a little rushed in the example video. Though if you have a fairly thorough understanding of chord construction up to an including at least seventh chords and possibly extensions, then understanding and following along might not necessarily be a problem. My fear would be that he'd teach some ideas, but not properly convey how to use them practically. Off-topic: he kind of comes off as the cliched idea of a used car salesman haha. Meanwhile, you can watch several more thorough video examples of lessons at http://www.jazzpianoonline.com (just watched http://www.jazzpianoonline.com/page6/page11/page112/page45/page45.php and was impressed; had watched others before). This teaching style seems a bit more analytical as well as comprehensive so that you can ultimately take away the principles and adapt them to your own playing. on the topic of "cocktail piano," I've found these Bill Hilton videos entertaining lately: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UkFi3vMsTshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OC2K7VAYd1Ahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfLp-a9s2UEedit: both sites do have money-back guarantees, though keep an eye on the time spans required for each

I researched him (Longo) and he seems to be well-qualified and is an excellent jazz pianist.
I am just looking for some confirmation that his stuff is actually good.
I too, am wary of getting a bunch of "tips", which I am full of, and no material that "shows" the detail of using it in a professional manner.
I need a professional finished product derived from his lessons.
I am not sure if that is what he offers.
