Hi, I am going to set up a music school. Any suggestion for the name of the school? Do you think it is weird if I use this name: Musiclicious Studio?

Thanks in advance.

hate to be a killjoy but it sounds too sexy or something to me.

you seem to be a jazz musician and make no mention of that.... (which would be of most importance to me.. the kind of music taught).

Personally, I would take your last name and call it the ******* school of jazz - a bit more straightforward.

Too hard to pronounce and as Apple mentioned has an odd connotation.

Something Something Music School is more sophisticated, classier and to the point.

There is couple ways to name a music school
You can use your name for example: Tanya Smith Music School
You can use your town for example: Seattle Music School
You can use your street name or the community name such as: Sea Village Music School (if you live in a community name Sea Village)
Other than these, you can highlight your strength such as:
If you teach Jazz, then name it Tanya’s Jazz Music School
If you like to have fun, name it: Fun Music School
Hope this help!

Keep two important things in mind...

1). You want a name that is easily "googled" by potential new clients...ideally a name that could work nicely into a .com address.

2) you want a name that parents are proud to be associated with. Picture the conversation "where does Johnny take piano lessons?" and imagine your clients' response...and the first impression it will create.

Too "out there" is not great, but neither is boring...

We know nothing of what you want to do, what type of music school you want to open, any kind of connections with your name, or other... It's really difficult to offer any kind of valid feebdack. However the name you suggested, reminded me of Harry Potter, for better or worst... :-/

I think Musiclicious sounds like a candy store that sells chocoates in the shape of music symbols.

Yum! Now that's a fun idea - the only limit to the products would be your imagination and the holding power of chocolate. Imagine a grand piano in chocolate, with white and dark chocolate keys......(and I can't even eat chocolate for pete's sake! lol)

Uhmm, I think that's a bad name.
It's hard to spell, hard to pronounce and hard to refer to.
Does not give an overall professional appearance.
But that's just my opinion and it's worth about as much as anybody wants to pay for it.

(Sorry.)

Musiclicious is too close to the word malicious (to me). I surely wouldn't want my children learning piano at a Malicious Studio! eek

I do like a fun, catchy name for a studio however (I haven't come up with one myself yet.)

Again, more information about what you are offering in your studio will help people give better suggestions.

I think we should all just start suggesting names.
You never know when a catchy one might come up.

How about something like, World Music Studio?

Or something that reflects that there is a wide variety of instruments being taught.

We have a music school that offers a lot of instruments like that, called Encore Performing Arts School. I like the sound of that.

Other ideas:
Global Sounds Studio
Worldwide Music Academy
Bravo School of Music
Young Artists Music Studio

I think the simpler the better, really. You want it catchy but easy.

Edit: Music World has a nice ring to it too!

Hi, thanks for the input. I like the first one because it looks professional and I beg this will gain the attention of the parents and adult learners. On the other hand, I also like the second one because its color will definitely attract the children. So, which one should I choose?

I like the first and last one the best. I would take them to a graphic artist and changed enough to be uniquely yours.
