Has anyone connected their Mac to a Clavinova? We are trying to access the music transfer capabilities and so far have found that everything is Windows based except for the midi driver itself.

My wife wants to be able to transfer the sheet music similar to what is preinstalled and are not finding much Mac support. She wants Digitial Music Notebook but it is only a Windows tool. I may try to run in under Mac Parallels but an equivalent that is truly Mac based would be great.

Any tips?

Joe

Try "Wine" first before resorting a parallels. Wine can run most Windows software without need to have a paid-up copy of Windows or a second OS on the computer. It's free so there is no much to loose.

But what exactly are you trying to do? Your Mac has Garage Band You should be able to open a MIDI file and send it to the piano with Garage Band.

I have a Yamaha P155. It is quite a bit like a Clavinova. The P155 works with Garage Band and also "Logic" just fine.
