i see there's a transcription by stravinsky himself. browsing on youtube, apparently Guido Agosti (italian pianist) also had a transciption. listening to it, it seems very impressive, and dare i say, better than stravinsky's version.
while we're on it, stravinsky also has a set of transcriptions for petrushka. there's also another one in imslp, by szanto.
i'm quite interested in playing these pieces. petrushka, i think, is actually considered in the standard repertoire. anyone have any experience with these stravinsky transcriptions? thanks.

Guido Agosti's is great, but a tad bit "messy", there's also one by Sam Raphling which is also quite good.

I heard a great performance of Stravinsky's Petrushka by Mariangela Vacatello. Unfortunately I cannot find a recording of it for sale although she did record it on CD. You can hear a segment of her performance here although its poorly recorded (but wonderfully played). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GAeKw2rfXc

thanks for the responses.
i'm looking at petrushka and i guess there're a lot of recordings--even horowitz had one! and pollini, and gilels, etc.
how should the interpretation of something like this be? mostly, i feel that i should just treat it as a piano piece, while keeping in mind what the orchestra can do.
it kind of makes me wonder how glenn gould would approach transcriptions like these, since he is so good at distinguishing different parts and voices.
