Yamaha PSR-510. A friend of mine got this off of his nephew because he never plays it and gave it to me. It's needing a detailed cleaning for sure. And the pitch wheel is very wobbly. I think I'm going to take it apart and see if I can fix it. It still works but there's definitely something wrong with it. I've only been playing for 6 months but my DP has weighted keys, the keys on this feel really strange to me. Seems pretty cool though, lots of sounds. Anyone have this one? -Z

Wow, this takes me back! I 'adopted' a PSR-510 in my early teens and spent many hours creating arrangements/accompaniments using the varied sample set. Of course, we're going back a few years now, but I recall being very impressed with some of the demonstration songs - especially the 'stadium rock' track. The verbal "Are you sure?" confirmation was pretty cool too! Cheers, James x

I've got the pitch wheel all fixed up. The nut was loose on the potentiometer. No big deal. Though, I did get it all cleaned up and put back together.... the damned pitch wheel is now backwards. HAHA! What a dumbass. Down bends up and up bends down. It doesn't bother me and I don't feel like taking it apart again anyway.
James, I wanted to ask you something about that keyboard. Do you recall when it was made? I've found a download of the manual and it's copyright is '93. Does that sound right to you? If so, I didn't think this keyboard was that old. lol It's held up pretty well.
Thanks -Z

Congrats on the pitch bend fix! Not sure about the manufacturing date - I bought my second-hand and it didn't come with a manual. There are still a few online resources available to download alternative patches. Some of the organ/EP sounds are quite usable! Cheers, James x
