I just wanted to know if any of you have had experiences at the IKIF festival held in Mannes. I'm heading over there in about 2 weeks as a full session participant and really have no clue what to expect. I know that there's a HUGE faculty there and I'm looking forward to that, as well as hopefully participating in the competition. If there's anybody that could provide some insight that'd be very appreciated

I've gone as an obsevor for the last around 11 years. Great recitals, masterclasses, lectures, a competition. All the specific information about the recitals and teachers is here:

During the day(9am-5pm) there usually about six masterclasses going on simultaneously throughout the building. You only have to pay for the that is being held in the concert hall; the rest are free.
