I'm looking for the title and/or composer of quite a melancholic and beautiful piano piece which I heard being played on a TV movie. I have been trying to find out myself and even contacted the TV station about it but unfortunately haven't succeeded. It didn't play an important role in the movie (just happened to be the piece that a pianist played at a concert) - it might well be something popular but unfortunately I have no idea. I have managed to record a piece of it - unfortunately I was unable to find the File Manager here so I've uploaded the sample to RapidShare. This is the link: https://rapidshare.com/#!download|70dt|3384754407|Piano_Sample.mp3|811|R~F69BC296F68F581FCACFBD12559D20A1 Would you do me a big favor and listen to it? Maybe anybody has a clue about who could be the composer or what this piece could be called? I find this music really very touching and I'd love so much to know what it is. I appreciate the slightest hint anybody may have. Thank you very much!
Here's another movie that has the same piece (or is this the movie that you saw? The video below though isn't a concert in the movie):

Current: Beethoven: Sonata Op.31, No.2 ("Tempest") Debussy: Danseuses de Delphes (Prelude 1, Book 1) Next in line: Chopin: Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op.23 Debussy: Le vent dans la plaine (Prelude 3, Book 1) Debussy: Les sons et les parfums tournent dans l'air du soir (Prelude 4, Book 1)
thank you so much for your answer (and nice comment ) , I've looked it up in YouTube and you're right, that's exactly it! So glad you found out! I unfortunately don't know enough about classical music and composers to have even made a guess at the composer. Thank you so much, really!
thank you for your answer! Exactly, that's the piece I was looking for! It was not that movie though but it's that music right enough Thank you very much for bothering, that was a big help!
