The moment of truth. I have never in my ife worked as hard on anything else. It was a gruelling two months and now it's time to see if I am ready.

Tomorrow I am sitting a theory/aural exam. I will be allowed to sit the piano exam only after passing that one first. It involves, interval recognition (all of them) both harmonic and melodic. I have this down to nearly 100%. Then chord recognition, say if it's a maj/min5 or 6 or 64 or augmented or diminished. Then movement of voices within chords, then recognizing the type of major or minor scale they play (natural, harmonic, enharmonic, melodic, etc)
and then the hardest bit -solfege. They play you a melody, about 10 measures and you have to write it down, there is two of those and they are my only concern but we'll see how it goes. If I manage to recognize the key the rest is easy.

Anyway I do need a rest after all this, so I hope I pass. This is not any of the graded exams in case you wonder, it's bigger than that but more on this later when I get the results. Anyway, I have to get up at 6 in the morning, so I'd better head to bed...

In boca al lupo Teodor!

This means "in the mouth of the wolf" - and university students here use it all the time.

If someone says it to you , you reply "crepi" - which means "He (the wolf) will die".

We want to see your dead wolf!!!

I'm sure you will be fine - you are a good student and you are well prepared. Do let us know how it goes!!!
