your baby grand looks really wonderful in your living room in the orange lighting. maybe you need another one grand side by side to reduce the echo..then both your bf and you could play the final fantasy them duet together...

hee hee, like snoopycar, I also thought the same as him, but not the one in orange though.

jarjar, try playing kakawai with half stick of lid close. Is it better?

Haha snoopycar, the way you call kaka and yamyam is very funny and cute! I've tried all position of the lid and it still no good. The worst is when the lid completely closed.

You just need some soft surfaces in the room to compensate for all the hard ones. A few pillows, a rug or two, and/or a couple of big overstuffed chairs should work wonders. I think GM10 is the brightest of Kawai's grands, but obviously you liked the sound of it or you wouldn't have bought one. I think some soft surfaces in the room are probably all you need.
