I waited by the donuts at the convention for you Diane.
Now it's time to get back to work and save some
spinet pianos from the dump.

Vacation was great! 2 weeks at the cottage was much needed. I came home for one night, last Sunday and then drove down to Kansas City for the PTG convention. It was fun!

I met some new people from here again on PW like Patrick. I ran into some others from PW that I had met at the last convention too. That part was quite enjoyable. I just came home last night.... Ahhhh, tis good to be back!

You people behaving yourselves in here??? smile

Ohhh, it makes me have to pee! I gotta pee! I gotta peeeee NOW!

What the!!!????

Hold still kitty! I'mmmm goooonnaaa gettttt youuuu YET!

And that's no bull sir...

Ohhh, don't mind me, I'm just hangin around....

I looked for you and your son everywhere from Friday (past exam) and on, but I couldn't find you... did you escape to somewhere more secure? smile

Anyways, great to meet you. I'll keep the beers chilled until next year!

Welcome back Jerry! Well I have to give "Daryl" credit. He's put up some very very funny pictures! Seems I missed running into Daryl at the PTG conference too! Hard to miss!

Anyways, we have been on "TOP" of things for you here!
Say, can some of you give me a little help getting my piano up a few stairs! I just moved to a really "ON TOP OF THE WORLD" location! grin

We might have to bypass the stairs Diane and try something else.

You walked right past me 3 or 4 times Patrick. Guess you didn't recognize my avatar after all eh? smile Actually, you looked as if you were on a mission either looking for someone or trying to get to class and so I didn't bother you but, I wanted to visit a tad more than time allowed for us too. Next time! thumb

I thought this song was classy. Perhaps you've seen it before on YouTube but, if not, enjoy the animation of an old mans life that he shares... Clickty here to see it.

The animation is indeed a nice one. But I must say, I can't stand the monotonous nature of Tiersen's music. The same four bars, over and over and over... (not even the fanciest moves in the right hand can cover this up). But hey, that's just my take.

Male or Female? You might not have known this, but a lot of non-living objects are actually either male or female. Here are some examples:

FREEZER BAGS:

They are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

TIRES:
Tires are male, because they go bald easily and are often over inflated

HOT AIR BALLOONS:
Also a male object, because to get them to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under their butt.

SPONGES:
These are female, because they are soft, squeezable and retain water.

PHOTOCOPIERS:
These are female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm them up again. They are an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can also wreak havoc if you push the wrong Buttons.
