Hi everyone (long time!)
SO i was re-reading scriabin´s bio once again, and I finally remembered to ask for everyone´s help on this?
on Volume II, when Scriabins visit to America is discussed, Scriabin writes to his wife about a left hand waltz that made the audience go wild, but one which he would never play again because a Russian fellow of his in the audience booed him with disapproval.

Any one have a clue where I can find the sheet music to this curious left-hand waltz? I have in my archives pretty much what I have found of his posth. pieces such as the 2 other sonatas, extra albumleaves, and short pieces, including 2 more waltzes, but not a left handed one.

Anyone wish to share this if they have or know FOR SURE that it is still unpublished? THANKS for the help.

I am unfamiliar with this piece, although there are at least two left hand only pieces by Scriabin: a Prelude and a Nocturne.

The composers want performers be imaginative, in the direction of their thinking--not just robots, who execute orders.

Yes, those 2 were published and are still very popular. In America, during Scriabin`s brief tour, those 2 left-handed pieces were constantly encored because the public demanded them. Then, in one of his last recitals, he presented a left-handed waltz which he had just remembered he had written in his conservatory days to exercise his left hand. This is the piece I am looking for but still no such luck. The posth. published waltzes I have are not for left-hand only so I am still hoping someone can help. Thanks.

It's possible that it was never published.

That would be real sad. If the CANON made it to the complete editions, then why not a flashy left-hand waltz?
