I came across this pair of piano pedal extender at
http://www.sheetmusic1.com/pianopedalextensions.html

Do anyone has experience with this cheaper solution? It has a felt that prevent scratching and it is supposed to be simple to install. I wonder does this work well comparing to the solution that costs $150-$250.

Thanks,
hkginger

The example you provided doesn't work well if you have more than one pianist in the household. You might try a search of this forum for previous discussions on pedal extenders. Some teachers avoid them at all costs, others have had success with this or that model. I use the PE-2 model as pictured below. It is not cheap.

It looks like a horrible solution to me, since there's nowhere to rest your heels! That would promote incorrect pedal technique.
