Kathy and I had the pleasure of attending a concert of hers yesterday (Sunday 08/21). She is a wonderful pianist, her technique makes it all look so effortless (it isn't) and she plays with great feeling.

We enjoyed her playing so much, we plan to be there Friday night. Join us if you can.

Kathy and I showed up a little early, with our volunteer badges. Good thing as they turned out to be short handed.
We were happy to jump in, and enjoy a great concert while meeting a lot of very nice people.

All in all a very enjoyable evening.

The crowd wouldn't let her leave after the Chopin (a full house). She played an encore piece,didn't get the name of it as we were talking to some people in the lobby and selling CDs.

Everyone we chatted with spoke very highly of Xu's performance.

The video department of the school video taped tonights performance with 3 different cameras. Looking forward to seeing the results (should be posted on YouTube for the school by next week).
