Well? Should I buy it?
I play mostly piano right now but down the road I will be playing organs and EPs as well.
I already have a Kawai MP10. Do the Grands sound better on the Kronos? I have today to get back with him (Tuesday, 08/30). I can see controlling the Kronos with the wonderful keyboard that the MP10 has.
Quick thoughts please!
Thanks People!

I decided against getting the board at this time. I want to play one in person to see if its faults are enough to steer me away from it. It is a 3.5 hour drive to play one. Another day, another board...

I decided against getting the board at this time. Smart move. For just piano and if you're just playing at home, I think the MP10 is a better choice. If you told me you were playing in a rock/pop/RnB type band, you needed all the organ/synth sounds plus you were concerned about cutting through, I'd say check it out. I thought the Kronos AP sound was very good but wasn't all that thrilled with the player-action connection with it. At least from just playing it in the store--maybe in the band it would be different.

Besides Hwystar, if you're just looking to control the Kronos with the MP10, you'd be better off with the 61 key Kronos, instead of the 88. Smart move on passing it up IMHO.

As an owner of the Kronos I say no! Not a good trade for the MP10 if you are a piano player. I almost want to sell the Kronos and get the MP10.

Heck Richard, if you got the MP10, you could compare how Kawai's premier digital piano action feels against Kawai's premier acoustic piano action in your SK5. You think you'll let the Kronos go?

Thanks for the responses guys! Much Appreciated!
For the time being, I think I have made the right choice.
You are also very right Zach. The 61 would do great for all of the sounds but I could use the Kawai to drive the Kronos for piano.
I have the feeling that all of the companies are going to come out with new boards early next year that will give the Kronos AP sounds a run for their money. Nothing against any of them including my MP10. They are all great boards, but... Time will tell.
