I am losing one of my favorite students.. She left for a job out of state.. as a teacher, nanny, homeschool website assistant. sigh. I teach her absolutely adorable and hardworking little sister.

The mom who is a saint on earth.. she lost her disabled son, and then adopted FOUR more, one severely disabled, and said her youngest biological son (maybe five or six) will start lessons. I'm hoping he will be a genius.... and then next year the 3 brothers she has adopted.

I really am glad I have the little sister. I know it's inappropriate to hug and kiss students but I sure want to give little a sis a big squeeze. She cracks me up when she suddenly plays one of her pieces at an extraordinary speed. (I used to do that). sooo fast i just laugh out loud. laugh
accompanist/organist.. a non-MTNA teacher to a few

You could always say your medication made you go loopy. I find it excuses most things, except extremely frank personal remarks.

How do I know this--- we've never met, I've never even seen your picture--- yet I can't think your student would mind just a quick little squeeze and a snog. Inappropriate touching is in quite a different category than sharing your delight in your student. But, I guess your student knows anyway.
