Second Hand Yamaha Disklavier DGT2A vs Clavinova CLP-295GP

Hi all! I'm new at this so I'd appreciate any feedback I can get. I'm looking at a used Yamaha Disklavier GranTouch DGT2A -originally bought in 2002. The owner says it's in mint/pristine condition and is asking $3500. Is that a good price? I've read all the threads about how that line is lacking in sampling, etc... but what I'm attracted to is the Disklavier part. It's hard to find one at that price range. I'm not at a professional level or anything so I'm probably not as discerning as some might be...? Second question - there is also a used (2 yrs old, still under warranty) Yamaha Clavinova CLP-295GP selling for $3800. Is that a good price? If you had to choose one over the other - would you pick the Clavinova? I do like the idea of the Disklavier - esp. with the keys that move during playback (my son who is very gifted in music piano learns visually and that would be such a plus for him... my sister has a Disklavier acoustic grand and we love it)... but I understand that the Clavinova would be more versatile in other ways - not to mention the advancement in electronics/sampling, etc... Thanks!

I can't comment on the pricing, but moving keys on a digital piano is purely a visual distraction...entertainment. On an acoustic player piano, the keys move because the piano is actually playing. You can listen to the digital piano play without the keys moving from a recorded track. I don't know how you could learn by watching except in the most simplistic of songs, but I suppose it is possible. The warranty for Yamaha products is not transferable to you, a second owner.
You might be better served in the "Digital Piano" forum next door. Simply request that a moderator move the thread and you may get more answers specific to these models and/or prices.
