Hi Aimee. I loved the Hot Hot Heat! I had not listened to them before. Thanks! I start back to work on Tuesday. While I hate to end the wonderful vacation I've had, I am very lucky to be going back to a job I actually like doing! I know there are lots of folks who can't say that. I'm counting my blessings for that!

Right now, I getting organized for the usual daily routines. Laundry, advanced cooking for lunches, etc. I'll be checking in soon. However, I believe it's time to get another load of laundry in the machine! Back to the domestic chores! One of Rossy's favorite things to do!

I only wish I didn't have to take a trip across the Atlantic to have one of those dinners. Sounds delicious!

My mom had a wringer washer with the twin-tub. If I had to do that, I'd probably be procrastinating even longer with getting my laundry done. Right now, me and the other half are trying to plan what's for dinner. That can take a while. We can both be a bit fussy about our choices. It usually comes out tasty, however.

We're trying to incorporate some of the veggies from our garden into tonight's meal. It forces us both to get more creative!

I love using ingredients out of the garden, it's very satisfying, we have loads of rhubarb ready, I think I'm gonna give Rhubarb wine a try, and maybe a little rhubarb crumble 2morow

Rhubarb wine sounds interesting. Let me know how it comes out! We've made a dinner decision -- carry out!

We have so many tomatoes and tomatillos to process from the garden tonight, that we won't have time to make dinner too! Of course it's a convenient excuse to have a burrito from our neighborhood carry out!

Good morning everyone! It's a work day for me and I feel thoroughly refreshed from my vacation. It's going to be a busy day (as usual). But here are some Memory Lane postings before I get to work.

My first post makes me think of my parents when I was in junior high school. Can you hear your parents voices when you listen to "Yakety Yak" by the Coasters?

Continuing down Memory Lane. The Chiffons were one of my favorite girl groups to dance to. Here is "The Locomotion."

I couldn't find The Crystals original recording of "He's a Rebel." However, here is a later performance, and they look FABULOUS!
