As many of you have discovered, there are banner ads popping
up inside threads where there were none.

WE DID NOT CREATE THESE ADS, WE DO NOT SUPPORT THESE ADS!

I don't know if it's a glitch in the Google software, or someone has once again messed with our forums.

I'm trying to get answers from the techs who built the forums, and from the Google folks. If you mouse over one of these ads, you'll see it has a google/doubleclick url.

The only ads we show inside the forums threads are the ones BETWEEN posts, and they are clearly labeled as advertisements.

WE DO NOT PUT ADS INSIDE A POST ITSELF.

We will continue to work to get rid of these annoying ads as quickly as possible. If one shows up in a post you made, edit the post (any change at all) and post the "change". That seems to get rid of the offending ad.
