Hey guys, was listening to some modern music and I came across this, what do you think about his playing?

Haha, I also found these two pieces arranged in a ''Virtuosic'' fashion.

I don't know what to actually say about the first one. But as Für Elise I don't like the first one. My understanding of one of the elements which makes Für Elise what it is, is the immense smoothness of the entire piece. This arrangement lacked it.

Showpiece, tight playing, solid tempo. Overall very nice job. Dynamics- ff mostly, I think it could use some more variation.

Interesting end, or is it just half of the piece?

I think he pulled it off pretty well. He didn't make mistakes that I could hear, had a good tempo and if he used the pedal then he had reasonable control over it.

Is this real playing or an electronic realization? Seems the latter to me.
Too many notes. No dynamics, subtle or not, no phrasing or musical articulation, and empty of emotion. Very metronomic tempo. Technique for the sake of technique, and unartistic. Very clever, unarguably. Impressive, but for me, not a musical result.

(expecting flame wars to begin)

I quite like the first one. That's some really fast playing
