What's you're favorite romantic piano piece?
Mine is Clara Schuman - Romance in A and Liszt - S.169 Romance Wish there was any MIDI files for them!

Which era would people generally consider Schubert's D. 960?
If the Schubert is classical, I'll say Alkan's concerto for solo piano.

Oh, in that case, both Schubert D. 960 and Alkan concerto for solo piano are WAY too hard. That Schumann fantasy listed above is quite difficult, too. And I'm sorry that you're not a fan of Schubert. But I think that might mean that you haven't heard the D. 960 sonata yet. Something not as advanced? Try the Brahms G Minor Rhapsody.

I don't want to read notes at the moment I'm not going to get too hard on you, except that I sincerely hope you're not serious about pursuing this at a high level. You'll never get anywhere without reading the scores. Assuming this is all in simple fun, though (and for 99% of pianists, let's face it, it is), I might suggest looking through some Grieg Lyric Pieces.

Probably one of the Chopin Nocturnes or Waltzes... Choosing which one is difficult. Perhaps Op 9 No 1, or Op 55 no 1... Op 34 no 2 maybe. It's really hard to decide such a thing. :P
