I hope I am not getting boring but I've got the impression many people really love the MP6 action. I am wondering how it does compare to the RM3 wooden action found in MP10/CA63/CA93, etc.? I don't care if an action is made of wood or cheese as long as it feels realistic and is durable smile I am really hooked by the great Rhodes sound in the MP6 and I am considering a gigging board. I was initially considering to swap my CA63 for MP10 for that purpose but I am now also including MP6 for its weight and great reputation.

The MP6 and the MP10 feel very different from each other. Personally, though neither are among my favorites, I prefer the MP6, though lots of people are big fans of the MP10.

anotherscott, just to have a point of reference, what's your favorite action?

Probably the Roland FP-7F. I also had a good first impression of the Yamaha CP5/CP1 but didn't spend enough time with them to be able to be more definitive than that. But these are both actions that are on the light side, closer to the acoustic pianos I like as well. Other people prefer a heavier action than I do.
