Here are a number of photos from Louis Lortie's performance at Koerner Hall last night. http://www.flickr.com/photos/grandpianohouse/sets/72157627914632978/The resounding comment received from more than one attendee was pure awe that never before had they heard a piano offer up a performance as the Steingraeber did last night with Mr. Lortie. Members of the audience were exiting the hall in a sort of eerie, quiet reverence, uncertain of what they had just experienced. It truly was magnificent.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.. The image of a concert grand on stage by itself is so inspiring and beautiful. May I ask if this is the same piano I played in your store back in June this year?

The concert was not recorded.

Yes, this is the same piano. However during the week last week it had been prepared by Lortie's visiting technician, Serge Harel from Montreal, and with Lortie's input Serge transformed this piano into an absolutely stunning instrument - even more so than it aleady was.
