This piece is composed in F sharp minor which I consider to be a dark key.
Theme is mostly stepwise like a shadow lurking and growing thus the name.

Still using mostly the harmonic language of the classical composers

Wow! Both the composition and your playing are very impressive! To me, it sounded very much like a modern day cross between Chopin and Rachmaninov - just better. Brilliant! I was so impressed I went onto your website and listened to most of the other compositions to and downloaded the sheet music for your Ab Nocturne. You certainly have a new fan here!

I've liked all the pieces you've written so far! This doesnt remind me so much of Rachmaninoff as it it would a Chopin / Hisaishi "Spirited Away" etc...

I can write in quite a few styles so I've been just posting mainly classical pieces here so my style is quite hybrid.....I've been just thinking of sticking to one style but i'm finding it not possible because each piece requires a different approach.
