I have the opportunity to purchase a Baldwin DG100 digital piano. I haven't been able to find out anything about it from anyone I've contacted. It's 5 years old and selling price is $1,000. It seems to have a good feel and sound. I would need to find an owner's manual for it, as the owner doesn't have one. The store where it was purchased is no longer in business. Does anyone have information on this piano and/or where I can get an owner's manual for it? Is this a good model? Is this a good price? I would be playing it for church services. Thanks for any help you can give.

So it's hard to say whether this piano is worth having, or not.

Difficult to say. It appears to be a mini-grand type of thing. One web source quotes original retail price at nearly $10,000. Might be well worth a go at $1000 or less. If everything on it works ok and it's in decent condition and you like the sound it makes and the feel of the keys then it would be very tempting, wouldn't it?

I'd probably play it safe and buy a new Yamaha P155 at the same price. But it's tempting all the same.....

Thanks for the input. I have decided not to purchase, as I have not been able to find an owner's manual for it. Also didn't want to take the risk that something would go wrong with it and then not be able to have it repaired.
