Kathy and I will be driving up route 75 from Florida Friday night (Dec. 2), headed up into TN, then over rte 40 to Ashville NC, and later next week down into Charleston, SC and finally back to the Florida west coast.

I'll be looking for pianos to play along our route (the Inn we are staying at in Hot Springs NC has a piano). If you know of any along the way, please let us know.

FSU College of Music in Tallahassee has a Fazioli 228. University of Memphis College of Music has an F278..but that's probably out of your way.

Lastly, the Kirk of the Kildaire Presbyterian Church in Cary, NC also has a F278.

Hi Frank,

If you are traveling I-75 from Fl. through Ga., I’m about 20 miles off I-75 from the McDonough or Locust Grove exits. I’d be more than happy for you and Kathy to stop by for a visit and cup of tea or coffee… you can play my C7 and my Baldwin 243 upright (and give me a piano lesson while you are at it laugh ).

Ya’ll can also take a look at my vintage farm tractors and my small heard of South African Boer goats… laugh

Either way, I hope you all have a safe and pleasant trip!

Rick

Frank, I'm so bummed I won't be in the wonderful city of Charleston when you are there. If I was of course my Yamaha CFIII 51gx and Bosendorfer 225 would welcome your touch!

Thanks Rickster, we may take you up on your invitation, depends on when we come through the area.

Too bad Eric, would have loved to have at them both!
Feel free to leave the key with a neighbor, I promise we won't touch anything else :-)

We're up I-85 just a little ways as you head through Atlanta. We'd love to see you again. You could play the new Estonia L225 among other fun stuff. That is too bad about the timing in Charleston; I can vouch for Eric's Yamaha, too.

When you're in Asheville, there is a stunning rosewood Bosendorfer in the ballroom of the Grand Bohemian Hotel.

Thanks Sam, would love to play the L225 and visit for a while.
We'll see how our schedule works out. We aren't in any real hurry, we enjoy traveling and visiting people (and pianos :-)

Best,

Frank B.
