NP 88 question for owners

First off, let me say that this device is outstanding. My Ivory 2 has been back in the box since the day I got the NP....wish synthogy would allow users to sell it...or even give it away, but that's another story. Until the NP, I had never been able to find a digital option that replicates the great tone of a real piano as a solo instrument on a recording.
Anyway, since owning the NP I noticed an occasional note choking, or weird gate thing happening on notes immediately following a sustain off event. The issue is associated with the resonance feature, and that must be turned on to hear the problem. It happens while performing live or playing back from Logic or DP7, in my experience. It is an elusive occurrence. Sometimes the same notes that sound choked on one pass, will not produce the affect on the next. This seems to be associated with some sort of "build up" of resonance that affects the note directly following a sustain off event, if that "off" event is a little too close to the next note. I have to edit my sustain off events on about 75% of my midi recorded performance to correct playback. All I have to do is move the off event a few tics earlier and the note after will ring true at full volume. If I'm super focused on lifting my pedal quickly during the performance, I can sometimes avoid the problem, but that really is distracting to the creative flow of the performance.
My question for other owners is if you've experienced this anomaly too? Clavia has been very supportive in helping to understand the problem, and fix it. They have released a few new OS's over the last several months, that include optimizations. Here is how they described the bug in the current 1.44 OS: "It also addresses an issue where certain pedal actions could lead to unwanted level changes in the sound." However, even with that OS release, the problem is still present. Clavia says now that it is difficult to make any further progress on the matter due to it's random nature, and lack of other user reports, but I still would love to have it completely solved. There is one other user I know of who has contacted clavia about it, and I would now ask if you have heard it, please reply so we might be able to offer additional examples, evidence and confirmation that the problem is still present.

....wish synthogy would allow users to sell it...or even give it away, but that's another story. Software marketers won't be happy until every USB port in the world is clogged with a useless dongle protecting their non-transferable license "agreements". The more repeatable the bug the more likely they'll be able to fix it. Job #1 in fixing anything electronic is getting the bug to show itself in as short a period as possible, ideally on cue. It sounds like you have a handle on making the problem better and you understand MIDI - why not construct a toy MIDI file that makes it much worse? Maybe try one repeated note and pedal events with various timings. If you're successful, post a video of the NP screwing up on YouTube to really light a fire under them!
