I haven't almost been practicing something for the last week due too some importance too school , some big testes.
Besides i'm also Sneezy , does that effect my playing beacuse when i'm that kind of "ill" then it feel's like my fingers are not that likely to coop with me. They feel more stiff and slow than before.
I hope a week of didn't effect my playing!

A week shouldn't affect your playing.

I've never had any trouble with that; hormones decreasing with age I suppose. Ha ha !

I find that time off playing usually does me good. The unconscious keeps on churning away about musical issues and upon resumption of playing seems to produce good ideas and previous blocks in thought have disappeared. Mind you, I play 95% improvisation. Those with a big repertoire of set pieces might not respond to breaks as well, I don't know.

When I have a cold I always play very well and ideas flow rapidly. I have never worked out why this should be so, but I have been that way since my teens.

Well, it's not really clear which country the OP is located ; English may not be his first language.....
In fact, it wasn't mine and I was born in OHIO!

I have a very weak immune system and am sick all the time (also due to the crazy weather here). So I often have a cold when I play. I still force myself to play, although obviously I don't feel at my best. Of course I have to renounce to the flute when I have a very bad cold frown , but I can still play the piano. I do not play very challenging pieces when I am very sick though.
