I know people in the past have been looking for a recording of Carl Vine's latest sonata,no. 3, and I just found (most of, some endings are missing) one on youtube.

I'm really wishing I could play one of Vine's sonatas, but I think they're likely too hard for me to learn next semester frown

And there's some great non-sonata Vine out there. The preludes are my favorite, but there's a lot of good material in the bagatelles and red blues, too.

What a titanic and beautiful work! Thanks for sharing, recordings of them are hard to find, and score harder still.

I may have to pick up some of those preludes: he writes absolutely incredible music!

The performance is a very fine one at that. What a great pianist! Always nice (and a bit scary to me) to come across so many unknown great pianists. Wish the entire performance was posted.

Thanks for sharing.
