I recently acquired a 1903 Mehlin Empire inverted grand piano number 22364. It is made of walnut and has beautiful inlays. Does anyone know a worth before and after restoration, and is it even worth restoring? It will need new coverings on the ivory keys, the keys themselves are good. The piano itself is in good condition.

I suggest that you hire someone to tune and evaluate it. If you are thinking of restoring it, find someone who is experienced in that. After a century, there are too many variables for someone who has never seen the piano to provide any definitive answers to your questions.
