Hello!!

I've purchased 4 songs from Musicnotes yesterday thinking I'd get them in midi format or in some way shape or form the files would be useful to me.

Nothing could be less true.

They're MTD files, pure sheet music and I can't read sheet music at all.

I've been trying to recreate the sheet music in MusicScore but that has been a total nightmare.

Is there any way I can make use of these files and perhaps open them in Synthesia?

Any tips on reading the sheet music that even a r-tard could do?

So are you looking for MIDI files to play back on a MIDI instrument or maybe a software piano? There are lots of sites out there with free MIDI songs to be downloaded. Not sure about sites where you pay for MIDI files but there are probably some of those as well.

But you'll need to Google or otherwise search specifically for MIDI files to find them. There are lots more commercial vendors of sheet music than MIDI out there.

It might be possible, the playback from the proprietary mtd file is in midi. Set the midi output device to your keyboard. Check if the keyboard can record tunes.
