This is my 14th composition, done in sibelius. I know it's very sloppy, the second half in particular, but I consider it my best composition yet. I'd appreciate any feedback.

First of all, the work is suffering from 'computer sounding sounds and recording"... Which makes the whole presentation a little bad. I can imagine it being quite nice on a real piano, with a real performer, but I'm not sure others can.

Other than that I do think that it's an interesting excersize and attempt to composition. If I was to offer any 'substantial' feedback, other than personal opinions (which is already hard to do), I'd say that it lacks a little bit the dramatic effect music can have. While you seem to want to go there, with your contrasts and interesting ideas, and going loud - soft - loud, you are also missing some 'techniques', or 'devices' to make it work.

Perhaps see how you can explore the whole of the keyboard, see how you can alter your accompaniament a little and see how to find other ways to present your melodic and thematic material.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried to play it on the piano, but found my hands weren't big enough. I guess I'll have to cut a lot of notes, or arrange it for multiple instruments or something.
