I’ve read the post by PianoWorld. I’ve felt better, as I saw myself as a "sandwich poster" grin .

Downloaded that AdBlocker and it's sort of working, cheers. Errrrr what music am I currently practicing......Lady G - Edge of Glory, almost finished, I do keep going back to Moonlight Sonata and am making progress, to be honest I don't mind if that one takes me a couple of months to do a decent job! In addition, I go back to older pieces I already know, to develop/improve on them!

No wayne straight up, I cannot see adds... but will come up with an alternative theory on Recaredos sandwich poster post.

Recaredo said "I see myself as a sandwich poster" so logically he must have just been about to post a sandwich to a friend in the postbox, when he caught sight of himself in a mirror, and had a moment of self realisation, seeing his reflection, and the sandwich poster in the reflection being himself.

I do not know what was in the sandwich that he was posting, i can only hazard a guess, my guess is that the sandwich contained a mixture of seafood, (probably puffa fish, you know the dangerous stuff that only licensed chefs are allowed to prepare as mistakes kill people) and some sort of peppers, and mayonaise, but not cheap stuff, home made probably, with some seasonally available greenery, in a freshly baked wholemeal bread that has sesame seeds on top and is a curly sort of shape, with some olive oil spread instead of butter.

Like i say its just a guess, my other guess would have to be BLT on white bread. a more simple guess and not as elaborate as the first guess and therefore easily dissmissed as unlikely you may say.

Recaredo is a very complicated person and may have a totally different explanation for calling himself a sandwich poster that no one will ever get to know about, because it may be a familly secret and just mentioning it may get him dis-inherited from the estate of livestock he may be due in the future if he behaves and does well in business.

I dont really know.

Your more than welcome My friend Recaredo, I often slip into fantasy land ( as my mum, wife and one remaining friend call it) to escape the torment of my own existance, so it is actually therapeutic to me as my therapissed often says on a tuesday afternoon at around 3.22pm when I am often late for my 2.22pm appointment.
she doesn't charge much as I do her "special favours" often making tea and fetching sandwiches from the subway as well.
Allthough she is a MIWRLF ( Mothers I would really like to forget) she is good at her job in her professional capacity, and has done well cleaning her act up since the 2006 scandal.
This was falsly reported in the local papers here in wales UK, nobody was under the piano, certainly not those dwarves.

2006 scandal? I don't know that scandal.

BTW, the word "scandal" reminds me this horrible song:

Why thanks Wayne, I take it you know how it's done? lol.
Okay I was bored....
Our lad is definately coming round tommorrow, to do the production on my waltz in ableton...
Stuff like compression and side chaining and techy stuff!!!
He is brill at it, and will teach me the things I need to know..

Thing is, I got an idea for a video to go with it, I dont just want to "grab " images allready on the web, but want to film and edit my own..

ah well, one thing at a time... so I probably wont be around till later tommorrow...
but will be here all tonight.

Rossy, yeah I'm good at things like that! Good luck with your vid, my other half is a bit of an amature film-maker/editor also, I'm curious to see, is your waltz gonna be the darkest waltz I ever heard, is your vid gonna be comical? who knows, can't wait! smile

PS.....who made this thread go wide......come on........own up! Go back and edit before it's too late!

OK wayne it was me that made the thread go wide, but it will be okay when it turns the page into page 51 soon.. it was trying to get the picture readable..

Without giving too much away, the waltz is sort of dark, but has a non dark or "hopefull section" The video will not be comical at all, it will be deadly serious...

wont say anymore..

Good evening folks! I took off early from work today because I have to work part of this weekend. However, I'm hoping to be done next week with my backlog.

I wasn't planning to post anything today. However, the talk about waltzes made me think of Leonard Cohen. I've been meaning to dig it up a few of his songs. So, have a listen with me.

Hi Griffin.

Sorry to hear you have to work at weekend.

That was a beautiful song. When I was a teen I loved this one. It was very popular here.

Enjoy your piano Griffin.

BTW, this year Leonard Cohen has received the Prince of Asturias award for letters. It’s a very important award in Spain.
