Her recent recording of the Ives violin sonatas with Hilary Hahn was well reviewed, and selected among the best recordings of 2011 by Alex Ross. She is also jumping on the latest LP wave and coming out with a vinyl Liszt recording.

A small wave, no surf. Jarvi and his orchestra just came out with a fresh complete set of Beethoven symphonies. (See here . Gustavo Dudamel is about to record some Mendelssohn with DG on vinyl (their first in 25 years). And as I mentioned so is Lisitsa. Makes you wonder about marketing strategies in the classical world.. I think that most of these do come up with an audio CD, but the key is a revival of the analog recording process for classical music.
