The School of Music at the University of British Columbia will soon be posting an opening for a Piano Tuner Technician. This position will be under the Collective Agreement of CUPE local 116 at UBC. The position will initially be at 30 hours per week (80% of full-time), and will include full benefits and salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement. Given the piano maintenance needs of the School, opportunities for increased hours are expected to arise, and will be explored in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
