Every so often I go to the Australian Music Centre to find some new music for my students. You can borrow items for 4 weeks (you just pay the postage) but it was somewhat annoying having to arrange for scores to be sent up and then posting them back (especially as I was getting most of the scores without having a chance to listen to them or view samples). But when I was browsing yesterday I discovered that they have a digital music library!

For the cost of my library membership ($90 Australian per year) I can download and print 30 works each month. The PDFs are watermarked with my name and the date on which they "expire" (3 weeks). It was all so easy and I found quite a few interesting pieces. Such a great idea to promote Australian music! Check it out!
